Diksha and I met just 7 months ago via a matrimony website. At first, it was just a few text messages exchanged between two people living in different cities. But those texts soon turned into long calls, which then evolved into video calls. It was as if each conversation revealed more of how perfectly aligned we were, like two parts of a whole finally finding each other. Despite the physical distance, we felt incredibly close. After a month of these wonderful exchanges, I decided it was time to meet her in person. I flew to Mumbai, my heart filled with anticipation and a hint of nervousness. When I finally saw her, coming towards me with the warmest smile, everything felt just right. She brought sunflowers for me, and so did I :). We spent the day exploring together—starting with a cozy café, then a serene stroll along the beach, where we sipped on chai and shared a bowl of Maggi, ending with a night out at a club where it felt like the world faded away, and topping it all off with ice cream under the stars. That first day together was everything I had hoped for and more. And in that moment, I knew—I was going to marry this girl!
